North Towards Casablanca, Rabat
DamnthatTelevision got to the train station only to find that it was a 2 hour wait until the next train, and so decided to walk north along the road following the signs for Casablanca in order to hitchhike. The city goes on for a long ways, but there is a wide spot in the road next to a gas station where it was possible to thumb a ride to a wide spot in the road at the edge of the city. Here after about 5 minutes a bus pulled over and the driver urged me to get in, which I did. When this happens in Morocco you are charged the fee, however it was the real Moroccan price, of about 5 euros, and they accepted 4.5 since that was all the cash I had.
