Mechelen ([[France|French]]: ''Malines'') is a town in the province of [[Antwerpen]] in Flanders, [[Belgium]]. Mechelen is situated half way between Antwerpen and [[Brussels]] just off the E19.

[[User:Guaka|guaka]] was dropped there on his way North from Brussels and hitched a continuing ride in 5 minutes. <!-- This info is pretty (read: totally) useless...edit 11/2/11 by FiLoIt's pretty easy to hitchhike from mechelen towards Leuven, Brussels or Antwerp. Ghent is a bit more difficult, since you have to get to either Antwerp or Ghent first and know where to get out to fetch a next ride. It's definitely possible though, the easiest is past Antwerp.
