Paderborn is a city in Germany.

Hitchhiking out

West towards Dortmund, Essen, Düsseldorf

Walk to the train station which is already very close to the highway (A33), then continue along Bahnhofstraße westwards until you encounter the gas stations (there are two, imho) next to it: ask people!

We tried it in February 2011 and the second car we talked to at the Shell gas station brought us to the rest area near Soest on the A44. From there we got a hitch directly into Düsseldorf. Didn't take long either.

Applications-office.png This article is a stub. This means that the information available to us is obviously insufficient. In these places little information is available or the description is severely outdated. If you have been there, whether hitchhiking, for travel or as part of an organized tour − be sure to extend this article!
