Prešov is the third largest city in Slovakia. Pronouncing {Prehshow}. In fact you can travel from one end to another in 40 minutes by public transport.

Pubilic transport
Adult ticket for a bus or troleybus is 0,50 €. It is recomended to buy a ticket because the conductors are well known with not_just_letting_go. It is often that controll is calling town police to the passangers without a ticket to take personal informations from ID or passport.
Hitching Out
South towards Košice -> Hungary (Miskolc ]and Budapest)
You will find the best place to hitchhike near train and bus station (Železničná stanica) which is 10 minutes by walk from the center of the town. Going in direction to TESCO supermarket (oposit direction from center) you will see the trafic lights and right behind is the place to hitchhike from. It is bussy road to Košice. Ussualy you will not wait more than 10 minutes. Write a H in circle for Hungary or KE sign for Košice.
North towards Bardejov, -> Poland (Rzesow)
The way to east (towards Humenné -> Ukraine) and north towards Bardejov, -> Poland (Rzesow)is the same road until you get into the willage Kapušany, then it devides to North and East.
Take a troleybus #1 from Train station (Železničná stanica). It is recomended to buy a ticket (0,5€) because this line is very often controlled by conductors. Get down at very last troleybus stop. On the right side you will have a good place to hitchhike. It is quite bussy road with many trucks going to Poland or Ukraine. Write a PL sign for Poland, BJ sign for Bardejov, SK for Svidnik or HE for Vranov nad Topľou, HE forHumenné .
