→North towards Naypyidaw, Mandalay, Mae Sot (Thailand)
Take YBS bus number 37 (၃၇), direction Hlegu (လှည်းကူး) from Sule Square and get off at A Mhat Thone Lan Sone (Mingalardon) bus stop (17.06578°N 96.16669°E). Walk north-east approx. 500m to the junction where the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway starts and begin hitchhiking just past the zero-mile marker.

You can easily catch a car to [[Naypyidaw]] or even straight to [[Mandalay]]. If you are going to [[Mae Sot]], you can hitch from the junction on highway 1 towards Bago.
