St Dyé-sur-Loire

  • Small village history, the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, steeped in history through his streets, his old houses, wells, his fortifications, his river port which hosted the materials needed to build the castle of Chambord.
  • Previously, Saint-Dyé was attended by famous people:

La Fontaine, Molière, D'Artagnan and the Marshal of Saxony. Located on the left bank of the Loire between Beauce and the Sologne, 15 km south-east of Blois, Saint Dyé is certainly one of the most beautiful villages in the region: to walk is a real delight
