I just sorted the countries of Europe after UN-standard. On the Europe site you'll find all EU countries, but in the startpage overview I left out the real small ones like Vatican or San Marino and the little Islands in the Channel and in the Northern sea. Does anyone has any suggestions about this? platschi 13:10, 14 August 2007 (CEST)

Cool, I didn't know there is an official definition for this. We already had discussions about how to group the countries in Europe.
I just removed Andorra from the Main Page (to avoid having so many red links there), the rest seems fine to me --MrTweek 13:21, 14 August 2007 (CEST)
All right, I guess I should start editing the other countries of the world as soon as possible. Maybe it is better to only list countries on the start page and not cities or regions (like California, Belize in Central America or Montevideo). By the way, where do you guys had your discussions about that :D ? platschi 13:38, 14 August 2007 (CEST)
Good job! Check Talk:Main_Page. I generally tried to avoid red links.
I feel that, for big countries it could be good to also show some links to e.g. California, or Siberia. But I don't really care either way :) Guaka 16:59, 15 August 2007 (CEST)

Sorted Americas

He, i just sorted Americas as good as possible. The UN Statistic Division says that the continent North America consists of Northern America, Caribbean and Central America. I just sorted these regions separately, or does anyone has a better idea? otherwise Americas could only be divided into North- and South, than we could delete the cities/states looking up in Northern America (only 3 countries there..). But if more Caribbean countries are coming, it could be too much if they are all listed only in North America... Uf, difficult. Help! ;) platschi 17:52, 16 August 2007 (CEST)

  • Quote: "The continent of North America (003) comprises Northern America (021), Caribbean (029), and Central America (013)." [1] (do we have a quote template?)
