from Mila77: I hitched from A i Lofoten (south end === South/East towards all directions ===To get out of Tromsø on the Lofoten Islands) [[E8]] cross the bridge and walk on to Tromsø in Summer 2005the roundabout. It was quite easy though sometimes I had to wait quite long. AlsoHowever, be prepared [[User:Xnothingxheldxbackx|Taylor]] believes that though it will not get dark, but standing by the roundabout is a HORRIBLE spot because there will be less and less cars comingis nowhere to pull over. This hitching took me almost Stand just after the bridge where local buses stop or walk approximately 1-2 dayskm past the roundabout to a big car dealership/factory and stand on their turning lane. I met really great ppl, usually locals. Be aware[[User: bring some extra food and waterThorRune|Thor-Rune]] agrees with Taylor, DON'T stand in case you get dropped off between Lødingen and Fiskefjorden. There is nothing there and I read the roundabout, people can't stop without making a funny story about this tracktraffic jam. In the old times He hitchhiked from just past the swedish ppl wanted to go to Norway and take over esso station after the land, but they didnt think of that there was no food supply on this area, so they all died passing this way and could not take over Norway... imagine how I felt when I realized that I got dropped off there. Fortunately some old lad picked me up who thought that my car had broken down... But it was fun and a great experiencebridge.
