About
Grégoire a hitchhiker currently living in Brussels, Belgium.
So far, he hitchhiked in Belgium, France, Spain, Luxemburg, Germany and The Netherlands. He speaks French, English and Dutch, and some words of Basque and Spanish.
He discovered hitchhiking in group around July 2001, but really started in June 2009 and did about 700 km since then.
Personal records
- Longest distance on one day: about 800 km in France on my way back from Bilbao.
- Shortest wait: Some women from Mons to a place after Paris, driving sometimes at 150 km/h on Belgian and French motorways, talking about psychoanalysis and epistemology. I had been waiting exactly zero second to find her.
- Fastest lift: From the Feldberg to Seesen at the average speed of 150 km/h in a Mercedes Viano.
- Worst waiting time: 8 hours in Bilbao by 34°C in the sun.
