Started getting into hitchhiking in New Zealand during a couple of weeks there in December 2002 after 14 months on the road through Europe, South \ Central \ Northern America. Before then, only hitched a couple of times in South America and the USA.
Then again in 2009, hitched around France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Andorra, Finland, Estonia, Hungary. Then did a bit more hitching in Japan before returning to my hometown, Perth in Australia.File:MattStock.jpg That trip was 10 months long and took me through New Zealand, South America (Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador) then through Europe, China and Japan.
