Born in 1957 in the Netherlands.
In 1980, as a student, I started hitchhiking, my tactics were:
have a haircut, fresh cloths, small bag.
I liked asking lorry drives for a ride.
Worked out fine.
In 2008 I intensified hitchhiking as I had more free time, and less money.
While hitchiking in France, I got a ride from a "française".
We married in 2013: "C'est un belle histoire".
We live in Lille, France
In 2022 I became grandfather.
And finally took a little task in maintaining hitchwiki.org:
I decided to check every sunday for new account requests, and after ample evaluation, respond as good as I can to these requests.
