Thanks Guaka!  I just began hitching recently but have just spent nearly a month touring around the southeastern United States and have lots to add, and I will be doing so as time allows.  Thanks for the warm welcome, I got a lot of good information from this site prior to departing for my first trip, so it is indeed quite a useful resource! --Aawmson (talk) 04:37, 15 May 2013 (CEST)

: Did you pass through Nashville while in the SE? I got cited there, and the cop said it was Davidson County protocol to cite anyone attempting to hitchhike regardless of where they were standing. See the article I wrote afterward. Maybe you have more to add. CRCulver (talk) 04:55, 15 May 2013 (CEST)
