Vama Veche is a small village in the south-eastern part of Romania, on the black sea. In summer, there is a big festival attracting tons of people to the beach.

Walking out of Vama Veche might be the easiest thing a hitchhiker can do. However, when you've visited the festival and leave on a day when many people are leaving (e.g. on the last day of this festival), make sure that you start your trip early because there will be lots of other people hoping to get a ride too!
