Hitchhiking out

West/East towards Traunstein/München(A8)/Freilassing/Salzburg

The best way to get out of Teisendorf is to go to the roundabout. But if you don't want to walk out of town, just face the cars going in the direction you want to go and hold out your thumb, cause lets face it: Teisendorf is a small cow village and virtually everybody who's sitting in a car, going in any direction is most likely going out of town.

Hitchhiking in

It is rather hard to get into Teisendorf if you're more than 5 km away, because almost nobody is going there. You will have to take several lifts which get you nearer to town. Your last ride will most likely start in Oberteisendorf (which is not yet Teisendorf (NEVER make the mistake to confuse Oberteisendorf with Teisendorf)) from where you can allready see the beatiful skyline of downtown Teisendorf.

Places to avoid

The greatest attraction of Teisendorf was a huge beer crate which was approximately 500 times bigger than an ordinary one (own very scientific calculation). Last year this symbol of happiness and joy was taken away, which makes the former location a place to avoid, because it's too sad to even be there.
