Hi Kyle, I just joined up to the forum, also a newbie to hitchhiking. I did just recently return from a four week 3,200 mile southeastern tour. I was intrigued to find you on here, mainly because I am also located in the Kansas City area (Blue Springs, MO to be more precise). We should grab a beer sometime and share stories. aawmson 21:07, 14 May 2013 (CEST)

Hey, I answered to your post on my talk page. Thanks for commenting :-)--Zenit 06:49, 31 May 2012 (CEST)

I've watched some videos on your youtube channel. Great work. Siberian explorer 07:02, 15 September 2012 (CEST)

You're adding so much good stuff to US articles! Thanks :) guaka 13:42, 22 September 2012 (CEST)

My pleasure. Sometimes it feels like my hitchhiking strategies are useless to anyone but me in the real world. It's nice to have an outlet for them here.Thewindandrain 16:10, 22 September 2012 (CEST)

Thanks for keeping up the good work on US cities! Great to see your edits! guaka (talk) 13:56, 8 December 2012 (CET)

Hi Kyle! I saw you're on a roll and made you administrator here :) guaka (talk) 12:16, 8 March 2013 (CET)

You can now delete pages, protect pages, block users and maybe some other things. I usually turn people into admins at whim, when I see they've doing good work on a wiki. It's a sign of appreciation and it's also healthy for the wiki as these admin powers come in handy for deterring spammers. On average people with admin rights become even more active since they feel more part of the project. :) guaka (talk) 12:46, 9 March 2013 (CET)

Hey, Kyle. Hope your preparations for your next trip are going well. Would you have any time to meet up before you leave? --Aawmson (talk) 21:55, 19 June 2013 (CEST)

Digihitch backups

I might have some stuff still on an older harddrive. I'll try to check that this week. guaka (talk) 12:56, 19 December 2013 (CET)

Thanks so much; this is really helpful. David said there's a lot of good stuff on that first sql you sent me.Thewindandrain (talk) 14:26, 19 December 2013 (CET)

Law

Thanks for adding all the legal info about hitching in the USA! The map

Unitedstateslaws.jpg

is particularly useful. I noticed that the yellow states are places where hitchhiking is legal on the grass, off the road. But in New Jersey, the law defines highways as "any way between the boundary lines open for the public use. This includes on-ramps and shoulders." So doesn't this mean it is legal to hitch on the grass there, and it should be designated as a yellow state? Thanks --Dr.Keith (talk) 14:40, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

Aw... OK. --Dr.Keith (talk) 14:11, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

Link to map

I've "corrected" the link to your hitchhike map. You might consider uploading it to hitchwiki so that you can actually show it on your page, but of course that means you'll have to update it here too every time. Prinoblog, talk 21:10, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
