South/West/towards Malmö, Helsingborg & Simrishamn
Walk southwest from city center along Långebrogatan in the direction of Långebro. Take left on Allégatan and walk a couple of hundred meters until you reach the highway junction. There you will find a perfect hitchhiking spot with a busstop right after a roundabout. When a car stops you should make sure it goes in your direction since you otherwise might get dropped of at the highway just a few km down the road where it could be more diffucult and dangerous to catch a ride.
