Lyon is a big city in the South East of France. The route soleil is passing through it, so in Summer there are huge amounts of traffic.
Hitching Out
South towards Orange, Nîmes, Marseille
It can take a little while to get a ride, but at least there's a nice place to wait. There's plenty of traffic heading to Valence and Orange, which is a good place to continue further East or West along the coast.
